This opportunity provides consistent hours, supportive leadership, and a pay range of $39–$43 per hour, depending on experience. In this role, your work will center on evaluating student needs, delivering speech and language therapy services, creating and implementing IEP-driven intervention plans, documenting progress, and partnering with teachers, families, and other specialists. You may support students with articulation delays, fluency challenges, pragmatic language needs, expressive and receptive language disorders, AAC implementation, and other communication barriers that impact learning. Your contributions will directly influence a student’s ability to connect, participate, and succeed.
Candidates must fulfill all Rhode Island and federal requirements for school-based SLP practice. This includes holding a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, completing a clinical fellowship or possessing ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), and maintaining an active Rhode Island SLP license. School credentials, background checks, and district onboarding processes are required.
