Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Contract
Location: Providence, RI
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time, school-based position located in Providence, RI. This opportunity serves a high school student population across three locations within the district. Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites is required.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students, contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive educational environment.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
-
Active Rhode Island SLP license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Must meet all local and state regulations for school-based services

Reliable transportation to travel between school sites
Preferred Experience:
-
Previous experience working in high school settings
-
Skilled in working with students with autism, speech-language impairments, and behavioral or cognitive needs

Familiarity with AAC devices and assistive technology
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
-
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy services
-
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student communication goals

Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning

Travel to assigned school sites as scheduled
