An in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the academic year, starting August 27, 2025, through June 16, 2026, located in Providence, RI. This contract role involves providing speech and language services to high school students across three different sites, requiring travel between locations. Students typically receive therapy one to two times per week, tailored to their individual needs, within a 35-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions to high school students
- Manage scheduling and travel between three sites efficiently
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Adhere to state regulations and district policies for SLP services
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid state licensure meeting all local requirements
- Experience working in school settings or similar educational environments
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and travel requirements
- Commitment to providing in-person services as required
