Speech-Language Pathologist in Warwick, RI
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to high school students. This contract position spans the entire school year and is based in Warwick, Rhode Island. The role involves collaborating with educators and families to assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language interventions that support student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Provide direct therapy services targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support inclusive educational environments
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with high school students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently
