As an Extended School Year (ESY) SLP, your summer contract will run from June through the first week of August. The school is ideally seeking a candidate who can be onsite two days per week, working approximately 5-6 hours each visit, with flexibility to tailor your hours for optimal work/life balance.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP licensure for Virginia (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in the ESY program
  • Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement individualized SLP plans
  • Collaborate with special education teams and families
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
