A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the full school year in a PreK-8th grade K-12 school setting in Baton Rouge, LA. This contract position involves working with 35-40 students within a charter organization committed to supporting student communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students’ needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in grades PreK through 8th.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student progress and carryover strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with program requirements.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
This full-time role consists of a 32-hour workweek throughout the full school year. The contract may be subject to renewal based on performance and mutual fit.
