Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 2026–2027 School Year
Pay Rate: $48-$56/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Time: Based on school schedule
Start Date: August 31, 2026
End Date: June 17, 2027
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the school district in Poulsbo, WA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person contract position supporting students across elementary and/or secondary levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students improve communication skills and succeed academically in a collaborative school environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
• Manage a caseload of approximately 42 students (elementary) or 45 students (secondary)
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
• Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
• Valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
