Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with school districts in the Poulsbo, WA area. We are seeking licensed and dedicated professionals passionate about supporting student communication and academic success in a collaborative school-based environment.


Position Overview

  • Location: Poulsbo, WA

  • Schedule: Full-time

  • Contract Term: 2025-2026 school year

  • Renewal: Based on performance


Key Responsibilities

Typical duties for this SLP role include:

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams

  • Providing direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings

  • Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to promote student progress

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines

  • Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Monitoring and adjusting interventions based on student needs and progress


Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be eligible:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

  • Valid Washington State Department of Health SLP License

  • Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Prior school-based experience is a plus

  • Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting requirements
