Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Washington State Department of Health
-
Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology from the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), or eligibility to obtain
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants may be considered
-
Must meet all school district onboarding requirements, including background checks and health clearances
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student progress
-
Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to develop effective support strategies
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities
