Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Kingston, NY

A full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the 2025–2026 school year in a K-12 school setting located in Poughkeepsie, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech-language services to school-aged students within a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and educational standards
- Deliver direct therapy services to foster communication skills, academic success, and social development
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, offering professional recommendations
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, student progress, and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New York State SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
