Speech Language Pathologist in Middletown, NY

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and adhere to relevant state educational standards
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student progress and generalization of skills
- Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings to provide expert recommendations
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New York State SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience with school-based therapy, pediatrics, or familiarity with DOE and CSE processes is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
