Travel School Speech Language Pathologist - Pottstown, Pennsylvania
An immediate opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings, including working with students who require AAC supports and those on the autism spectrum. This travel assignment is based in Pottstown, PA, and offers the opportunity to serve a total of 45 students across two locations—an elementary and a high school approximately 15 minutes apart.
Responsibilities include providing direct speech and language therapy services to students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and support staff to meet students’ communication needs. Experience working with elementary and high school populations is essential.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience
- Proficiency with AAC devices and strategies
- Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorders
This position runs ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) and includes an Extended School Year (ESY) opportunity for summer services.
