An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to work in a K-12 school setting in West Chester, PA. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and requires onsite presence throughout the duration. The role involves working primarily with middle and high school students, managing a caseload of approximately 30 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and compliance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
- Deliver therapy sessions onsite during school hours as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Experience working with middle and high school students in a school environment.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
