An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to medically fragile students through in-home services. This contract position is based in the Norristown and Upper Merion areas, serving families within a K-12 educational setting. The assignment offers a flexible per diem schedule, averaging approximately 2.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-home speech therapy services tailored to the unique needs of medically fragile students
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to create effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with program standards and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Willingness to consider candidates holding an SLPA credential
- Experience working with medically fragile children or in-home therapy services
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Valid PA state licensure as required
Location: Norristown and Upper Merion, PA areas
Duration: Contract position for the Current School Year (CSY)
Schedule: Per diem, approximately 2.5 hours weekly
