Speech and Language Pathologist - Allentown, PA
Allentown, PA
A K-12 school in Allentown, PA, is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services for Pre-K students aged 3-5 with speech and language impairments. This onsite, contracted position offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in young children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred.
- Experience working with young children, especially in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language impairment disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
