Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time – Portsmouth, VA
Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Portsmouth, Virginia. This is a rewarding opportunity to help K–12 students strengthen their speech, language, and communication skills, supporting both academic achievement and social development.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess student needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication goals

Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers to support student success
-
Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
-
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and team input
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply

Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
