Speech Language Pathologist – Early Childhood Special Education | Portland, OR | Travel Opportunity
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist with school experience to work onsite in Portland, Oregon. Serving a diverse K-12 caseload, the focus will be on children ages 3–5 within Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). The role runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and support services to students in ECSE programs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess, diagnose, and design interventions for speech and language disorders across the K-12 population
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
- Participate actively in student team meetings and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Active Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Professional experience working in school settings, preferably with early childhood students
- Strong understanding of ECSE requirements and best practices for children ages 3–5
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families
Location and Work Environment:
- Onsite assignment in Portland, Oregon
- Travel-based role supporting a public school environment
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule
