Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Portland, OR
This on-site contract position based in Portland, OR offers a rewarding opportunity for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within various school programs. The role spans multiple schools, serving students from elementary through high school, with the option to work part-time at two campuses or combine for a full-time schedule. Internal support is available to assist with caseload management.
Locations Served:
- Mountainside High School (.5 FTE)
- Findley Elementary School (.6 FTE)
- ISC Programs at William Walker, Beaverton High School, and Southridge High School (1 FTE, March 12 to April 22, 2026)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring tailored to students’ individual needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
- Adapt therapy strategies to reflect best practices and current research in speech-language pathology
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with school-based caseloads preferred; entry-level candidates with strong skills encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites
This contract runs from ASAP until June, providing flexible scheduling options between part-time and full-time commitments. The position offers a dynamic environment where you can impact students’ communication skills and academic success.
