SLP Teletherapist Oregon Rural School Contracts
We’re seeking a Remote SLP to serve students in rural and underserved areas of Oregon. This 1099 opportunity allows you to work from home while helping districts expand access to speech-language services. You’ll work with students of varying needs and participate fully in virtual special education teams.
Responsibilities:

Provide speech therapy remotely to students in rural schools

Conduct evaluations using remote-compatible tools

Write reports that account for cultural and regional factors
-
Coordinate with educators on student needs and progress
-
Adapt materials for areas with limited internet access
-
Track therapy data and share updates with school teams
-
Support students from diverse backgrounds and learning environments
-
Recommend low-tech supports when high-tech isn’t feasible
-
Attend virtual team meetings across multiple time zones
-
Monitor caseload compliance independently
-
Help teams interpret speech-language milestones in various contexts
-
Provide virtual support during emergencies or school closures
-
Maintain open communication with rural SPED coordinators
-
Promote telehealth literacy among educators and families

Submit invoices based on service delivery logs

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
