Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist – Full-Time | Portland, OR

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support school districts in the Portland, OR area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated educational team and make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic success.

Position Details:

  • Location: Portland, OR

  • Schedule: Full-Time | School-Based

  • Contract Dates: 2025–2026 School Year

  • Pay Rate: $40–$49+ per hour (based on experience)

Role Overview:
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide evaluations, therapy, and consultative services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential through evidence-based therapy and collaboration with educators and families.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy and treatment plans

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations

Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Oregon state requirements for Speech Language Pathologists, including:

  • Valid Oregon SLP License issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Completion of a supervised clinical fellowship (CF)

  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP procedures, and school-based therapy practices

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
