This part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is based in South Portland, ME, serving a K-12 school setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to students with diverse communication needs.
  • Support students primarily in special purpose programs with higher needs.
  • Assist with speech and language evaluations at an additional elementary site.
  • Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in pediatric and school settings.
  • Skilled in working with early childhood to elementary-aged students (Pre-K to 5th grade).
  • Familiarity with AAC methods considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently and support evaluation processes.

Location: South Portland, Maine (K-12 school setting)
Duration: Contract position from ASAP through the end of the school year
Schedule: Part-time, 8 to 24 hours per week
