Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Portales, NM
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting located in Portales, NM. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on evaluating and treating students with speech and language disorders to support their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students exhibiting speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific speech and language goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators, counselors, and healthcare providers

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in New Mexico
