Job Type: Full-time, onsite, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Assignment Duration: ASAP through June 2, 2026
Caseload: One school, focus on student evaluations including those with autism
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged children, with emphasis on Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments
- Collaborate with school staff and families to provide clear communication about student needs and progress
- Assist the school district in reducing the current evaluation backlog
- Maintain compliance with all district policies, including mandated fingerprinting and credentialing requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP licensure required
- Experience performing evaluations for students with autism is critical
- Ability to work onsite full-time during regular school hours
- Completion of district-required fingerprinting; may utilize Department of Health records to expedite this process
