A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Port Saint Lucie area, serving a local school district on the Southeast Florida coast. Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL (Southeast Florida Coast)
Job Type: Full-time, onsite, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Assignment Duration: ASAP through June 2, 2026
Caseload: One school, focus on student evaluations including those with autism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged children, with emphasis on Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to provide clear communication about student needs and progress
  • Assist the school district in reducing the current evaluation backlog
  • Maintain compliance with all district policies, including mandated fingerprinting and credentialing requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida SLP licensure required
  • Experience performing evaluations for students with autism is critical
  • Ability to work onsite full-time during regular school hours
  • Completion of district-required fingerprinting; may utilize Department of Health records to expedite this process
