Take on meaningful work collaborating with faculty and supporting students, with flexibility to assemble a full-time position or choose a part-time commitment. Assignments range from working on a supportive SLP team to serving as the primary SLP onsite in a smaller school. Caseloads include K-8 populations, with some sites serving Pre-K through 8th.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida SLP license
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to a variety of site environments and student populations
- Completion of district-required fingerprinting (can accept prior AHCA prints)
- Availability to visit on-site prior to start date for badging
Role Highlights:
- Serve 1-2 assigned schools, dependent on full- or part-time status
- Full-time (35 hours/week) OR flexible part-time (14-21 hours/week) schedules
- Deliver therapy to K-8 or PK-8 caseloads as outlined by site
- Collaborate closely with school teams, families, and other SLPs as applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state/district guidelines
- Sites offer diverse atmospheres—work alongside experienced SLP staff or independently in smaller schools
