Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Port Saint Lucie, FL
Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Compensation Packages
Pay is determined by candidate experience, district funding, and assignment details. Final rates will be confirmed during the interview process.
Local Candidates (Port Saint Lucie area):

Hourly pay: $40–$45/hr

School-year calendar and full-time schedule

Weekly pay via direct deposit
Travel Candidates (relocating for the assignment):

Base taxable hourly rate plus tax-free stipends for housing and meals

Estimated weekly take-home equivalent to $45–$52/hr after stipends and estimated taxes

Job Responsibilities

Provide speech and language therapy services in individual and group sessions

Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams

Document progress and adjust treatment as needed

Ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations
Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Florida SLP license (or eligibility prior to start)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates welcome

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Must pass all required background checks and district onboarding
