About the Speech-Language Pathologist Role

Requirements for the Role
Candidates must meet Washington education, certification, and licensure requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Washington State Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license

Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification through the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Experience in school-based settings preferred

Completion of Washington school district background check requirements
