Position Overview
Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Bremerton, WA for the 2025–2026 school year. This role involves working with a K–12 student population to provide direct speech-language therapy, participate in evaluations, and collaborate with educational teams to support student success. The SLP will also provide supervision to SLPAs and serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language needs.
Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language evaluations in accordance with district and state guidelines

Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Participate in a multi-disciplinary team approach to student support

Supervise and provide training to assigned Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)

Counsel and guide parents, students, and staff on speech/language disorders and intervention strategies

Maintain detailed records and comply with all documentation and service requirements
Qualifications

Active Washington State SLP License (required)

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

ASHA CCC-SLP strongly preferred
-
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred)

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
