A contracted Speech Language Pathologist position is available to support K-12 students across three school sites within Orange Park, FL. This role offers both part-time and full-time options with a focus on delivering quality speech therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students ranging from elementary through high school
- Manage caseloads effectively, averaging between 10 to 44 students depending on school assignment
- Collaborate with school staff and fellow SLPs to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and licensing standards
- Work on site at assigned schools during scheduled hours
Locations and Schedule:
- Pedro Menendez High School: 4 days/week, 7.5 hours per day (8:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.), caseload ~44 students
- Nease High School: 3 days/week (potentially 2 days), 7.5 hours per day (8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), caseload ~30 students
- Patriot Oaks Academy (K-8): 1 day/week, 7.5 hours per day, caseload 10-15 students
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathology licensure required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong caseload management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Contract Details:
- Contract term through the current school year ending May 29, 2026
- On-site work only; positions not open for VOCO
- Available for immediate start
