A K-12 educational setting in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, is seeking qualified Speech Language Pathologists to provide vital therapy services across multiple school sites. This contract opportunity runs through the current school year, offering both part-time and full-time assignments tailored to different student age groups and caseload needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, depending on assignment location.
- Manage caseloads effectively, including small group therapy sessions at the private school location.
- Document student progress toward individualized goals.
- Collaborate with other SLPs and school staff to support student communication development.
- Serve specific roles including maternity short-term coverage, and itinerant therapy at two campuses for small group sessions.
- Adhere to all applicable policies and maintain professional licensure requirements.
Locations and Assignments:
- Crookshank Elementary (PreK-5): 3–4 days per week; work alongside two full-time SLPs.
- Durbin Creek Elementary (PreK-5): Maternity short-term coverage from mid-March through May 29; 5 days per week.
- Veritas Classical School (K-12, Private): Itinerant role providing 5 hours weekly starting in January through mid-May; small group therapy only.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple school environments.
