Speech and Language Pathologist - Plymouth, NH
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary setting in Plymouth, NH, for the upcoming school year. This contract position involves working closely with children to address a range of speech and language needs, fostering their communication skills and ensuring a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists
Location: Plymouth, NH, serving two elementary schools in the Vermont area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting IEP goals as necessary
- Provide direct therapy to a caseload of 10-13 students
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support overall student development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
