A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is needed for a K-12 public school in Philadelphia, PA. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year and requires onsite presence. The caseload includes approximately 30 students, primarily at the middle and high school levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation complies with school policies and legal requirements.
- Participate in team meetings to contribute to a positive and collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Experience working with middle and high school students preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
- Ability to work full-time onsite and manage a caseload of approximately 30 students.
