Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Plymouth, IN
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in a K-12 school setting located in Plymouth, Indiana. This position offers a full-time schedule, five days a week for a total of 35 hours, working with preschool through 12th-grade students of varying abilities and levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the teacher of record for approximately 30 students whose primary eligibility is speech or language impairment.
- Providing speech and language services as the teacher of service for other students who have speech and language as a secondary identification.
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students’ communication development.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to state and federal regulations related to special education services.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Eligibility to provide services in healthcare and pediatric settings considered a strong asset.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Experience with diverse student populations in educational environments.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain excellent communication skills.
