Key Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Texas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities
What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver individual and group speech therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing case management
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Complete progress notes and maintain compliance documentation
