Speech-Language Pathologist in Anchorage, AK

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alaska
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with families, teachers, and staff
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific goals and abilities
- Deliver direct therapy services across a range of needs, such as articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Contribute to IEP meetings, provide progress reports, and maintain detailed and timely documentation
- Provide support and coaching for teachers and families to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom and at home
