Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation for itinerant travel between school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy in line with student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Provide both direct and indirect services within private and home school settings
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation per school and compliance requirements
