School Speech Language Pathologist - Plano, TX
Make an impact in the 2026–2027 school year by supporting communication and learning for elementary and middle school students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with approximately 35 students per caseload, delivering vital speech and language services throughout the academic year.
As part of the school community, you’ll collaborate with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success. Your expertise will support a diverse group of learners by conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized education program (IEP) goals, and providing both direct therapy and consultative services.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Texas SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary and middle school populations, is highly valued
- Skilled in conducting speech and language evaluations and developing IEPs
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to middle and elementary students
- Conduct evaluations and participate in the IEP process
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
