A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a maternity leave for a contract position through April 2024. This role is based in Plano, Texas, supporting elementary school students across two campuses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-5 students at Old Settlers Elementary (caseload of 40 students) and Southridge Elementary (caseload of 8 students).
- Manage therapy sessions, documentation, and communication with staff and families.
- Work onsite full-time, including two half days at an additional campus.
- Collaborate with school personnel to support student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred certification: SLP-CCC.
- Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CF) must arrange supervision prior to starting, as the district cannot provide supervision.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage a medium-to-large caseload efficiently.
- Willingness to work onsite during regular school hours.
