A public school district in Plano, TX is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide speech therapy services in an onsite setting. There are two full-time contract openings available, with part-time consideration possible, supporting middle and high school students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of 65 to 85 students.
  • Implementing evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring consistent with best practices.
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to district protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preference for SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • New graduates (Clinical Fellows) considered if supervision arrangements are pre-established; district cannot provide supervision.
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy is strongly preferred.

Locations and Caseloads:

  • Durham Middle School: Approximate caseload of 65 students.
  • Hebron High School / Hebron 9: Approximate caseload of 85 students.

This contract position requires working onsite in Plano, TX, supporting students within a dynamic educational environment. The role involves full-time hours (40 hours/week) with some flexibility for part-time schedules.
