This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at two elementary schools serving students in grades K through 5. The role requires onsite presence and involves supporting a caseload of approximately 48 students across two campuses, including some half-day assignments at an additional location. This contract position is set to cover a maternity leave and extends through late April.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to K-5 students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and related communication needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
- Manage caseload effectively across two campus locations.
- Attend scheduled half-day sessions at an alternate campus as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- If a Clinical Fellow (CF), must have external supervision arranged; the district cannot provide supervision.
- Prior experience working in school settings with elementary-aged students is highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple school site assignments during the workweek.
