This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time coverage for a maternity leave at an elementary school in the Plano, TX area. The role involves working directly with K-5 students across two schools, managing a caseload of approximately 48 children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students at Old Settlers Elementary and Southridge Elementary.
- Serve a caseload of 40 students at one campus and 8 at another.
- Follow district guidelines and collaborate with school staff to support student communication needs.
- Provide services onsite; two half days will be spent at an additional campus.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Current and active state license to practice as an SLP.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred.
- Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CFs) must arrange supervision prior to assignment start; the district does not provide supervision.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children (K-5) is desired.
- Ability to work onsite full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.

- Position based in the Lewisville, TX area with direct service at specified elementary schools.
