Speech Language Pathologist in Plano, TX
Plano, TX
A full-time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-12 students within a dynamic school district located in Mesquite, Texas. This role is an itinerant position covering multiple campuses with a base office at the Student Support Center. The ideal candidate will support the district’s evaluation team, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse student population in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grades.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and the evaluation team to develop tailored intervention plans.
- Utilize district-provided resources including test kits and technology to conduct assessments efficiently.
- Manage caseloads effectively while maintaining documentation and reporting in compliance with district standards.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
- Provide services on-site with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week in a hybrid capacity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish essential.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Mesquite, TX
Duration: January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours daily, full-time
Work Setting: On-site with one remote day per week permitted
