This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students at an elementary school in Plano, TX. The position is a contract role for the current school year, with an anticipated end date of May 22, 2025. The successful candidate will work primarily onsite, with one day per week allowed for remote work.
Location:
- Plano, TX
- Serving students at a K-12 elementary school
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Manage a caseload consistent with school guidelines, supporting student communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and other staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting preferred
- Candidates must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- This position does not accept Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Typical hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Onsite presence required 4 days per week with 1 day remote work possible
