Speech-Language Pathologist in Plano, TX
This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support across two elementary schools in the Plano, TX area. Covering two maternity leaves, the position offers a unique chance to work with young students in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students ranging from PreK through 5th grade.
- Manage caseloads of approximately 53, 40, and 8 students across three campuses.
- Deliver services onsite, including two half days at an additional school location.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to assess and support students’ communication needs.
- Ensure compliance with therapy plans and school schedules throughout the contract period.
Qualifications:
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Preferred certification: SLP-CCC. Candidates in the Clinical Fellowship (CF) stage must have established external supervision prior to employment, as district supervision is unavailable.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-age children is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently and provide consistent therapeutic support.
Location:
- This is an onsite position based in the Plano, Texas area, supporting multiple elementary school campuses.
Contract Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Coverage includes two maternity leaves: ASAP through January and January through early April.
- This is a contract position for the current school year.
