Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Plano, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team of professionals committed to making a positive impact on students’ lives. Contract renewal for the next school year will be based on performance.

Position Details:

  • Location: Plano, TX area

  • Type: Full-Time

  • Setting: School-based

  • Contract: 2024–2025 school year, with potential renewal

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students

  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social development

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reports and compliance documentation

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Current Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Texas Education Agency (TEA) Speech-Language Pathology Services credential (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district
