Speech Pathology - Plainview, TX
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or SLP Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) to provide onsite support at a K-12 school located in Plainview, Texas. The engagement spans a full semester starting in January through the end of the school year, offering a consistent schedule of approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students across K-12 grades, following individual education plans (IEPs) and district guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and support staff to facilitate student progress.
- For CFY and SLPA positions, receive onsite supervision from an assigned district supervisor dedicated to supporting professional development and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes in alignment with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure for SLP or SLPA roles.
- For Clinical Fellows, eligibility and readiness for supervised practice.
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to commit to the full semester contract term.
Location and Logistics:
- Situated in Plainview, Texas, approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from the West New Mexico border, providing a community-focused educational environment.
