A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school experience is needed for the current school year, providing services across multiple K-12 locations in Joliet, IL. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 2026, supporting elementary to junior high students primarily on the autism spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students across three schools within the region, including one in Morris, IL, and two in Minooka, IL.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, focusing on communication disorders related to autism spectrum.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with school district requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development and success.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
  • Proven school-based SLP experience, preferably working with K-12 students.
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and tailored intervention strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families.
  • Eligibility to work under a contract through the school year 2025-2026.

Location: Joliet, Illinois, servicing three schools with student populations in Morris and Minooka.
