A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school experience to support special education services in Grundy County, IL. This full-time role spans the 2025-2026 school year and offers a caseload working across three schools serving elementary and junior high students.
Location:
- Morris, IL (1 school with approximately 20 students)
- Minooka, IL (2 schools with approximately 8 and 7 students respectively)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students on the autism spectrum.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports aligned with state and special education guidelines.
- Travel between the three designated school sites within the region, serving a combined caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
- Experience working in school settings as an SLP.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently across multiple school locations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with supporting students on the autism spectrum preferred.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration from ASAP through May 2026
