Position Overview:

What You’ll Do:
- Assess and Diagnose: Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
- Personalized Therapy: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to support students with diverse speech and language challenges.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to create a supportive, inclusive learning experience.
- Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring every student gets the attention they need.
- Progress Monitoring: Keep track of student progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- IEP Involvement: Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering your expertise to the team.
- Professional Development: Share your knowledge and insights with staff to enhance the overall school environment.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- CT state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Preferred: Experience in a school-based setting.
