Travel Speech Pathology - Placerville, CA
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve multiple school locations throughout El Dorado County, California. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services primarily within school settings across various locations.
- Manage mild to moderate caseloads with varying sizes depending on the assignment.
- Provide onsite supervision to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule with potential site changes throughout the semester.
- Maintain compliance with California SLP licensure and standard school-based requirements.
- Collaborate with educational teams to support students’ communication goals from PreK through adult transition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license.
- Experience working in California schools and familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System).
- Willingness to travel and adjust assignments mid-semester.
- Comfortable providing supervision for CFs and SLPAs.
- Skilled in supporting mild to moderate caseloads.
Location and Travel Details: This position is onsite-based, with multiple school locations scattered across the county. Travel is essential, with the opportunity to serve in beautiful areas within an approximate 1.5-hour drive to Lake Tahoe eastbound or 45 minutes to Sacramento westbound, offering a unique combination of work and outdoor lifestyle.
