Travel School Speech and Language Pathologist | Pittsfield, Massachusetts
A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Pittsfield, MA, working with the public school system. This travel position offers the chance to provide vital speech and language support to students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade at Crosby Elementary School.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and delivering therapy that promotes student progress are essential components of this role.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid SLP certifications including SLP, SLP-CCC, or school-based SLP credentials
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (Pre-K to 5th grade), preferably in a school setting
- Ability to handle a full-time caseload effectively
- Openness to working with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Willingness to travel to the assigned school location
