School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Local Pay: $41–$46 hourly
Travel Weekly Package: $1,576

A school district in Pittsfield is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students for the 2024–2025 school year. This role is designed for a clinician who values meaningful connection and collaborative practice. Services are onsite, with possible remote flexibility pending district approval.

About the role:
The SLP will assess student needs, provide therapy aligned with IEP goals, and maintain compliance with state and federal educational requirements. Caseloads may include articulation, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency, voice, AAC support, and pragmatic language needs.

Qualifications:
• Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC preferred; CFs may be considered if supervision is available
• Understanding of IDEA compliance and school-based documentation requirements
• Pediatric or K–12 experience preferred

Primary responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment findings
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
• Complete documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Implement AAC systems as appropriate
